About Us
Welcome to Plus 1 Tennis Academy! We are the exclusive youth tennis provider for the Ladera Recreation District, a member based community swim and racquet sports facility located in beautiful Portola Valley, California. We specialize in youth and junior player development and offer a full range of instruction from beginner clinics to high performance training and private lessons year round. At Plus 1, our goal is to provide every athlete with the resources and tools needed to unlock their highest potential both on and off the tennis court. We focus on four key areas of player development: Technical, Tactical, Movement, and Mental, starting with the basics and progressing to high-performance.
Our PTR/USTA certified coaches will work with you to meet your unique and individual needs at every stage of development. Whether you are working on improving your serve, refining your footwork, or mastering your mental game, we tailor our programs for each player.
